The Hamilton County Crawford Wetland Mitigation Project was completed for the Hamilton County Surveyor’s Office to construct a 0.62 acre wetland mitigation required by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management for previous unavoidable impacts. Williams Creek Management provided all turnkey services necessary to complete the Construction, Installation, and Preservation of the wetland mitigation project.

The initial site clearing consisted of removal of a house foundation, abandonment of an existing well, and tree clearing. After site abnormalities were discovered, Williams Creek worked hand in hand with the Hamilton County Surveyor’s Office and its engineer to address and value engineer multiple aspects of the project to finish ahead of schedule and without additional costs.

Williams Creek is currently performing the required five years of Maintenance and Monitoring to ensure the success criteria of the Indiana Department of Environmental Management’s Isolated Wetland Impact Permit is met.
