This project addressed an emergency for a confidential utility client where a utility pole on the White River was severely compromised by bank erosion, leaving it exposed and at risk of falling into the river. The area's frequent flooding compounded the urgency.
The primary challenge involved extremely tight timelines and seamless coordination with the client to immediately follow their pole relocation. Working on a flood-prone river also meant constant competition with environmental factors, as any rain event could cause flooding and delay.
Williams Creek Management’s solution involved implementing a significant bank stabilization with multiple "key ends" and redundant stabilization points on both sides of the structure, serving as fail-safes against heavy flooding. This was achieved through proactive communication and precise, real-time coordination with the client.
The project successfully secured critical utility infrastructure, preventing a major outage or environmental incident. This demonstrates Williams Creek’s ability to respond effectively to emergencies, manage complex logistics in sensitive environments, and deliver high-quality bank stabilization under pressure, ensuring the integrity of vital utility assets.
