Williams Park, a 200-acre community space in Brownsburg, Indiana, has undergone significant improvements over the past decade. Williams Creek Management has played a key role in enhancing its natural areas and recreational offerings, working alongside the Town of Brownsburg to ensure long-term sustainability.
With a mix of open fields and wooded areas, the park features over a mile of asphalt loop trails and additional ADA-approved wooded trails. Williams Creek has been deeply involved in restoring and managing these spaces, leading efforts such as invasive species removal, pollinator garden installations, and forestry work. One of its most impactful projects was the development of an outdoor classroom on the park’s northeast side, where native plantings now support educational programming.
Secondly, the Entry Boulevard turf to prairie conversion amongst the roundabout landscape design/build has given a very unique gateway experience while traveling to the park’s Splash Pad. The many forbs and grass species will encourage both conversation amongst the visitors and conservation in a space that was once overlooked.
Surrounded by neighborhoods and bordered by White Lick Creek, Williams Park serves as a vital community resource. Since 2012, Williams Creek has remained a trusted partner in maintaining and improving the park’s landscapes.
That commitment continues today, with ongoing ecological restoration and landscape enhancements. As Brownsburg invests in future park improvements, Williams Creek remains dedicated to preserving the park’s natural beauty and ensuring its accessibility for generations to come.
